REMOVAL OF THE ROOF DRIP PANEL

WARNING! - Removal of the exterior roof trim panels (see Fig 1) is extremely difficult without breaking them. For this reason you are advised to seek professional help!

 2 to 4 - Carefully remove interior panels.

Once these interior panels are removed you must then undo the outer roof sill panel retaining nuts.

Unfortunately the exterior roof sill panels are also secured by means of a black adhesive and this makes it extremely difficult to remove the panels without damaging them causing you to replace the panels with new ones.

You will be pleased to hear that removal of the 'bonnet spoiler' (see Fig 5) is somewhat easier.

WARNING! - You are advised to place a protective covering on the bonnet to prevent damage to the paintwork!

 6 - Remove rubber strips.
 7 - Lift up plastic panel from the front and pull towards you as you lift it out.

 8, 9 and 10 - Put your hand and feel for the nuts you can roughly locate them by looking for their position under the spoiler.
